BIO
I’ve had the pleasure of working with individuals, couples, families, and groups in private practice since 1995. With a degree in mathematics from Vanderbilt University and 12 years of data processing experience before completing my Masters in Social Work at New York University, I bring strong analytical skills to the practice of cognitive therapy.
To balance this rational approach, I have extensively trained in the most effective experiential modalities I could find, including Holotropic Breathwork™, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Core Energetics, EMDR, Breath Therapy, and hypnotherapy.
As I deepened my grounding in three of these approaches, I began teaching them to other practitioners in the training programs for Core Energetics, Integral Breath Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.

Harmonia is excited to launch the Harmonia Symposium, its 14 week educational workshop and training series, on January 8, 2020. The symposium will cover a range of topics related to Harmonia’s “compassionate revolution” approach to harm reduction, including intentional communication, health and safety around drugs, and some of the newest developments in psychedelic therapy. Presentations will be conducted by guests who are professionals in the mental health field, as well as “Harmonia Huddles” led by Harmonia’s core team members. The events will take place on the first, second, and fourth Wednesday of every month January through April at 7pm at the Living Arts Foundation, at 51 Old Town Candler Rd., Candler, NC, 28715.

Harmonia was started in order to address a major issue within the festival community that has gone unresolved for far too long: the need for a safe decompression space for individuals undergoing difficult emotional experiences. Harmonia provides harm reduction services via our Decompression Lounge to East Coast and Midwest events and music festivals. Our mission of providing a safe and supportive space for festivals has inspired our community to authentically value self empowerment, educated and intentional decision-making, and creating support networks for others.
